Stereotypes are Reckless. Here’s why.
Female stereotypes label half of the world’s population, Asian stereotypes are about ~4.6 billion people, Racial/ ‘people of color’ stereotypes label > 6 billion people, Millennial and Gen Z stereotypes label > 60% of the world!
Ask yourself: Can any stereotype be remotely accurate when it refers to more than a Billion people?
Does it help us in anyway, to stereotype a majority of the world’s population? When we stereotype, are we therefore, the minority, stereotyping the majority?
